Fredi Nwaka is an award wining script writer, film director and actor

Known to many as KRUGA or FREDI KRUGA South West London born Fredi spent his teenage years between the urban back streets of Brixton and the plush opposites of Kings Road Chelsea.

Fredi is a creative force, a multiple threat with a passion for film. His credits as an actor include DEAD MAN RUNNING with 50 CENT, EASTENDERS, LEGACY and most recently Noel Clarke’s BROTHERHOOD. However it is as a writer, director and producer that he is currently gaining recognition. With an ever increasing list of award winning productions Fredi’s work is gaining international recognition and applause.

Fredi Nwaka runs several programmes and works with young people through his not for profit organisation Creating Role Models creatingrolemodels He is also the founder of BACK2BLACK Awards which takes place at the prestigious London BAFTA, an event and award show that recognises the work done in the community by ‘ordinary’ people and he is co-founder of an organisation that mentors and supports young people all the year round.



A contemporary twist on the classic ‘whodunit’ starring UK songstress and ITV Loose Woman Jamelia; and Batman and Pirates of the Caribbean UK actor Winston EllisTHE DIARY is filmed in London with a story-line that is timeless but scenes and scenarios that are bang up to date. This thriller has social relevance. Detective Inspector Anisa Powell [Jamelia], is a lady who grew up on the tough streets of Handsworth, Birmingham but moved to London to pursue her childhood dream, a career in the Metropolitan Police force. She excels to a high ranking position but with it comes the pressure of being a female of colour in a male dominated organisation. Not one to be deterred by pressure or stereotypes, D.I. Powell is faced with her biggest challenge yet, a prolific serial killer….
